Importance of Good Mental Health

Mental health plays a vital role in giving shape to one’s life. One has to be mentally healthy to remain fit. This has got a greater impact on every day’s activities. Mental health is the ability of balancing problems coping up with the situation. One should be normal and biased and must be able to take quick, wise decisions without being succumbed to situation. Lack of mental health leads to mental disorder or mental illness. They have disturbances in thinking, behavior and feeling. This will make life tedious and problematic.
In most cases, people are affected with mental disorders because of emotional and psychological activities. The environment plays a vital role in this. Some of the impacts can be for a shorter term and some may have a long lasting effect. Those persons have to be treated by psychiatrists. Some may develop phobias which are fear of something. With no reasons, some have the tendency to be afraid. Some will have phobias on seeing fire, water and much more. Also stress has been a major cause for mental illness. People do not respond properly and do not take enough measures to counter the stress. Prolonged exposure to stress related situation may result in fatigue. This will create havoc.

A report says that about 75% of mental illness is due to stress. People should have a balanced life and must keep their temper cool to handle situations. Hitler’s words have to be remembered here. He says, “If you can solve your problem then what is the need of worrying? If you cannot solve it then what is the use of worrying?” So there is no use in worrying. So remain cool and life will give you the answers for all the problems. Take the help from your friends, parents, family members and the persons whom who you love. The greatest care and affection shown by them will have a positive inspiration and persons can recover from such problems sooner.
