Best Time To Take Creatine

November 14th, 2009 by admin

Few years ago, athletes recommended that creatine should be taken before exercise. Those who supported this approach realized that using of creatine before exercise boosts up the energy to max level. Another problem that occurs by taking creatine before exercise is that it shifts body fluids. Monohydrate. Powder of creatine draws fluid from other components of our body muscles.

Although this process is nothing more than the cellular manifestation of body muscles but it does cause dehydration. This is critical if you do workout intensely in hot and humid environments. Lastly, high glycemic sugars, such included in creatine products, could cause a certain drop in energy level. This is obviously productive to your trainings needs.

Therefore there are many possible reasons why not to take creatine before workout or exercise.

There are many advantages of taking creatine after your workout because after workout our muscles are so sensitive and in need of insulin-mediated uptake or creatine. For this reason we can take benefit of this situation by taking healthy amount of creatine along with carbohydrates and protein, this combination of nutrients helps in by releasing a good amount of anabolic hormones, and also produces hormones in our body.

Therefore, taking creatine along with carbohydrates and proteins shakes should enhance our body strength and boost muscle growth rapidly.

According to my experience and practical guide for creatine use, I strongly recommend that creatine should be taken after workout, which increases creatine absorption and enhances muscles growth more effectively.

And the most important thing is that I m not talking about some specific creatine products. I m talking about all the creatine! Whether it is in powder form or any other form. Either it is used by athletes or bodybuilders. All types of creatine should be taken after workout or exercise because you can gain more and more weight in less time and honestly speaking you will see sparkling results in your body.

Among all the supplements, creatine is considered as the most effective and healthy supplement for the body because it neither has any side effects nor causes any damage to your muscles. And most the experienced trainers highly recommend creatine because it serves as a complete and effective diet after work out. Most people think that Creatine is type of steroid, but it is not true.

But it is consider better to use the natural foods as a diet and not to use any sort of supplements because the only food that is trust worthy is produced by Nature. And it also has pure proteins and nutrition’s. And if any one wants to have a healthy body and strong muscles he/she should use natural products. Because is full of proteins and if someone wants to build muscles and body he/she cant afford to ignore proteins.

Child Health – What To Do?

October 30th, 2009 by admin

We often spend too much time worrying about how our child may catch a cold, or eat something unhealthy and countless worries such as these. In doing so, we often compromise our duty to equip our children to lead a healthy life on their own. A child is a very sensitive and keenly observant being. If you constantly fret over your kids and keep them sheltered at all times, the chances are they’ll never learn how to cope with a situation outside of their experience and that wouldn’t make them very grateful I tell you!

Being a parent can be stressful, I understand. But keeping your children healthy does not have to be a strenuous exercise.

Begin with being a good role model. Follow a good, healthy lifestyle and give them a practical demonstration of what it is like. Do it for yourself because it does not have to be a staged performance. If you are healthy, you’d be able to take care of your kids better. And they’ll know how important it is to have some exercise and eat fruits and vegetables if they see a happy mother doing the same.

While doing so, keep sharing your knowledge about fruits, vegetables, recipes etc. with your children. It will make them conscious about what they are eating and educate them against all the media hype about machine made snacks. Get your children involved with the food making process by taking them to grocery, having them help around in the kitchen etc. It is important to make a child understand that home cooking is not a bland, boring thing!

Keep motivating your child to take up some sort of exercise. It does not have to be some sport. Anything from walking to cycling to even dancing would do. Build their confidence about their bodies. Focus on positive points. Appreciating their game, stamina, or simply how strong and healthy they look would incorporate a sense of security and responsibility towards their own bodies. The list could go on, but at the end, every parent wants his/her child to be a healthy being. You just have to tune in that spirit with some basic field knowledge and you’re good to go!

Child Depression

October 5th, 2009 by admin

You may come across situations in your life when your child gives up food, becomes reclusive, angry, obsessed, or simply quiet. Losing that smile on your child’s face is the most painful thing for a parent, which is why it is very important for us to understand how to overcome the problem. Depression in children is far more complex than in adults. The doctors need to go over the entire situation with a bird’s eye view of everything around the child. As parents, one should be educated about such troubles in children to be better equipped if the situation is similar at their own place.

Bullying, negligent parenting, stressed out parents etc are the most widely known reasons for a child to be depressed. Parents usually spend too much time worrying about physical health but ignore the emotional health of their child. It is important to have a very sound communication system intact between yourself and your child so that you may have some idea as to what is causing the stress.

Teen depression is a raging topic with all the parents all over the world. An age where you’re neither young nor old could be very stressful on its own, especially when your emotional and physical being is undergoing changes. This metamorphosis is a very delicate time for both the parents and the child. Negativity may easily enter the child’s system and continue to flourish if not treated in time. For teen depression, usually cognitive therapy is used where the doctor focuses on blocking away negative thoughts in patients, develop positive social skills, and assist in adopting relaxing techniques, meditation etc.

While getting an expert to deal with your child’s depression is definitely easier and an assured way of treating your problem, it may not be all that effective on its own. It is important to develop what we may call a family therapy.

Look around yourself. Assess your situation and your relationship.  Have you been too harsh or overly critical? Do you stay stressed out? Where do your everyday discussions usually head to? How much time do you spend together shopping, talking, etc? Answering these questions every once in a while may keep you right on track with your child.

Heat Illness

September 13th, 2009 by admin

Beating the heat is very important in leading a healthy life. This is because many of the illnesses are derived from heat itself. These illnesses are usually not paid enough or sometimes no attention but in fact can cause severe problems in your body and even lead to other consequences. So you must keep in mind all the following points.

Heat stroke is a very serious symptom of heat illness. It is necessary to get medical attention during a stroke but the victim’s health is also affected a lot by the after affects. The bad part about heat strokes is that they come usually with no sign of heat exhaustion at all. But there are some symptoms you can look for. These contain dizziness, faster heart rate, loss of consciousness, high body temperatures even till 104 to 106 and also the shortness of breath.

If you are facing or any one else is facing these problems it is strongly advised that you go see a doctor to get your physical state checked. Heat also causes cramps in your body. These can be figured out by severely painful and immobilizing cramps that occur in the hands, feet and calves. Heat often causes heat exhaustion being a illness itself. This exhaustion ultimately leads to anxiety, fatigue, headache, nausea and muscle aches. Other signs of heat exhaustion include weakness and confusion especially when one usually faints from weakness.

Avoiding heat illness is also a very important job. This can be fought with proper hydration with fluids basically. It is a good habit to keep ice in your bottles for cool water intake. If you feel any of the symptoms then you should go to a well ventilated or air conditioned area as it will help a lot. An important task in this is to always get an abundance of fluids and salts. Act on these and never let your heart down from going out in the open.

Importance of Health Insurance

August 28th, 2009 by admin

A health insurance policy is designed to cover the costs of medical care in the event it is needed. In most developed countries, health care is provided by the state to the citizens for free. Private health care exists alongside state provision for those who want it. The United States of America is the notable exception to this. In that country, health care is provided by private organisations and its cost is largely covered by health insurance policies provided by companies to their employees. Not all companies provide health insurance to their employees. Therefore, at any given time, there is usually a substantial minority of the population without any health insurance provision.

Health insurance plans vary greatly in exactly what health treatments are covered.  It is not uncommon for disputes to occur between the insuree and the insurance provider when the insuree falls ill and requests coverage of a particularly expensive treatment. Some health insurance policies provide for regular health check-ups of the insured person or persons. Many health insurance policies apply to whole families rather than to individuals.

Naturally enough, many health insurance providers screen applicants carefully, examining their medical history and sometime performing health checks on them before deciding whether to offer insurance coverage and what the price of that insurance coverage should be.

Hygiene and Lifestyle

August 26th, 2009 by admin

Personal hygiene is something one cannot compromise on. It is essential to our health and personal grooming is one way to have a confident, elf assured, and happy personality because you’re never too shy getting nears the ones you love!

To start with, never underestimate the power of washing hands. Our hands get to go a lot of places and we don’t always want them mixing up with each other. Thus, my friends wash your hands before eating. It will allow you a more independent use of your hands and ensure that you’re not licking any bacteria off your fingers if the food’s that good!

Also, wash your hands before and after preparing food as you don’t want to add a taste of impurities to your food and nor would you want your hands to smell of ginger and garlic once you’re out with your folks enjoying what you just made.

Take a shower, if not a bath, daily. With the amount of pollution our dear planet has nowadays, you cannot allow the city grime to stay on you for too long. If it’s corrosive to brick and mortar, you’re no competition, mate!

Trim your nails every fortnight. Depending on the growth of your nails, you may vary the routine as the purpose is to avoid grime settling in your nails and to have them a size that is neither too short to look kiddish or long enough to look like a vampire did your manicure. Long nails may off and on become fashionable, but they are certainly not the best health practice and can be very dangerous if you have kids around as you might accidentally hurt them.

Give yourself a home made manicure and pedicure every once a while. It does not have to bee too fancy, but enough to get a freshly scrubbed and pumiced look which goes awesomely with a delicate color on your nails. These few steps, if make way into your regular life, transform the way you feel and look at yourself. Not only that, you’d definitely feel the difference around your loved ones when you’re always ready for an instant hug or something intimate.
